Triode Tubes

Food heater tube 4 x AA batteries?
Is it okay to do this? Experimenting with a single subminiature triode tube, would good for the water heater with 4 AA batteries 6V DC and output are heating only in series with that? If I can find some use D cells, only the owner of one [...]
