my ibm computer has its sound device enabled in bios but after installing windows no audio device is detected?

why is my sound card not detected after installing windows?

Of course…bcos when u install windows it doesnt inludes the SOUND DRIVERS in it..

to play the sound in the pc u need a driver..(SOUND DRIVER)

it varies and differs based on what type or brand of ur own pc…the motherboard to be precise…

therefore u need to download it, mine is VIA so i downloaded VIA AUDIO DRIVER, problem solved…

but REALTEK is one of drivers too…i recommend u try both of them…if they didnt work, check what type of mobo (motherboard) u have and download it..
